Meet our Newest Designer! Marissa Lair

Marissa is the newest addition to the Liberty Interior Design team and a recent graduate of our design program. She moved to Chatham-Kent in early 2022 and has a professional background in social services and higher education. She started to dive deeper into design and home styling after renovating her first home. She's an eternal optimist and sees design potential in every space she enters. Marissa’s personal taste has a flair for bold, authentic mixes of modern and vintage, and she dabbles with integrating colour as much as she can. She is excited to work closely with her clients to bring forward their unique personalities in their homes. It is of utmost importance to her as a designer that clients feel represented in their space and close the design chapter with a sense of belonging and peace in their home.

When Marissa is not scheming up design plans for her never ending list of dream projects, she can typically be found at home with a murder mystery novel. Marissa and her partner became foster parents with the Pet and Wildlife Rescue when they first arrived in Chatham, and failed miserably with their first fur baby, who is now adopted and staying with them in her forever home. 

Marissa will be serving the Chatham-Kent community as well as leading eDesign Services virtually. eDesign services allow Liberty Interior Design to support clients no matter where they live.
